6. Change direction pressure wheel When the belt conveyor changes from horizontal to inclined, a directional roller is used, and the transition section is small in size and compact in structure. 7. Unloader
7.1 The plow type unloader with unloading positions includes double-sided unloading, left side unloading, and right side unloading. According to the driving mode, this series of unloaders has three types: manual, pneumatic, and electric. Both pneumatic and electric can achieve semi-automatic control of unloading.8. Cleaning device The cleaner is used to clean materials adhered to the conveyor belt.
8.1 Head cleaner. Installed below the transmission drum to remove materials adhered to the working surface. This discharge head cleaner adopts a torsion spring type. When the rubber scraper wears down and the cleaning effect decreases, it can be used to support the support frame and slightly loosen the bolts. Then, push the support frame upwards in the opposite direction as indicated by the arrow, so that the rubber scraper is tightly pressed on the conveyor belt and slightly deformed. Finally, tighten the bolts and remove the external thrust until the scraper contacts the conveyor belt evenly.
8.2 The empty section cleaner is installed at the front of the rear turning drum to clean the material on the non working surface of the conveyor belt.
9. Backstop When the inclination angle of the belt conveyor is large, a reverse stopper should be installed to prevent accidents such as the conveyor belt slipping when it suddenly stops at full load. The installation of a backstop on the high-speed shaft of this series of belt conveyors and shaft mounted reducers depends on the usage requirements, but it does not affect the external installation structure and size, making it very convenient to use. In general, when the inclination of a belt conveyor is less than 8 °, a backstop can be omitted.
10. Tensioning device The belt conveyors used in the casting workshop are generally medium and short distance conveyors. This series of conveyors does not use spiral tensioning devices, and the tensioning stroke is three levels: 300, 500, and 800 millimeters. The tensioning stroke is generally selected at 1% of the length of the conveyor head and tail wheel. The recommended values are shown in Table 6. A washer must be added between the screw of the lead screw and the tailstock plate, and the number of washers should ensure that the lead screw is in a tensile state. It is not allowed for the lead screw to work under pressure.
11.Rack This series adopts a bolt connected assembled intermediate frame, which eliminates the need for a head frame, tail frame, and drive bracket due to the special structure of this drive device. The middle frame is divided into a head section, a middle section, and a tail section. The nominal length of the head and tail sections is 6000 millimeters, and the middle section is based on 6000 millimeters as the standard section. When the standard segment cannot meet the requirements, a non-standard segment can be inserted.
12. Sealing cover This series adopts a semi enclosed sealing cover with a standard of 2000mm, divided into three types:
head section, universal section, and exhaust section.
