Purpose:

The cooling drum is specifically designed for the cooling and crushing of sand particles in the casting production line of
the casting workshop after the mold has fallen. The machine itself operates in a sealed manner and is reliable in operation. Due to its excellent comprehensive performance, it is widely used in high-speed and high-pressure molding batch production lines for small and medium-sized castings. The machine stirs and flips the castings in wet sand with buffering and heat transfer effects,allowing for ventilation and separation of the sand. At the same time, the old sand is thoroughly crushed and uniformly cooled along with the castings.

When the mold of the desander box enters the cylinder bodyand rotates to a certain height with the cylinder body, it falls tothe bottom of the cylinder body by self weight. Under the constantimpact and friction between them, the sand mold and the castingare separated and reach the grid part of the cylinder body alongthe direction of the spiral piece. The sand enters the old sand system and thecasting is discharged from the discharge port.

Product Application

It is widely used in the mixing of self hardening sand for large cast ron, cast steel and other castings. The machine is a movableadjustable elevating sand mixer, which is easy to operate and has fullfunctions .

It operates without vibration, impact or noise, and operates in a closed manner, basically eliminating the dust pollution caused by sand dropping in the workshop.

Product Features

According to the heat capacity of the poured castings, an automatic humidification and water addition device is used to spray water into the drum. The castings are mixed and flipped together in the wet old sand with buffering and heat transfer effects, and
ventilated.

lt adopts split type sand mixing tank with stainless steelinner lining for easy cleaning and maintenance;sand mixing blade is inlaid withhard alloy cutter head for long service life.

The machine head is equipped with head and tail sand control device and odor and dust removal device.

The old sand is perfectly crushed, and the castings are uniformly cooled. The discharged castings can be directly sent to the surface for cleaning, greatly improving labor productivity and saving investment in old sand crushing equipment and expensive casting cooling equipment.

The start and stop of the mobile car are controlled by frequency conversion, which can realize fast and slow action; the safety systemis equipped with balance weight, track cleaning and audible and visual alarm devices. However, due to the completion of casting sand dropping, cooling, old sand crushing, and coarse screening in this machine, the
total investment in casting equipment is greatly reduced, and the castings in the drum move forward during flipping without
hanging or not moving.
